Q: Can I use my own modem with Coextro?
Yes, you can use your own modem, but it must be compatible with Coextro Internet Service.
Here’s what you need to know:
- The modem must be DOCSIS 3.1 and compatible with the Coextro service.
- If transferring a compatible modem from another provider, it must be disconnected from the current provider before it can be registered on Coextro’s network
Q: Are there any data caps on Coextro's internet plans?
No, Coextro offers unlimited data on all internet plans. You can stream, browse, and download without restrictions.
Q: Can I bundle services with Coextro?
Yes, customers can combine their services; however, the listed costs are already lowered.
Q: Why do I have to pay for the hardware?
This is a security deposit, which is the refundable amount upon service cancellation and returning the hardware. There is no monthly rental fee.
Q: Can I pay the security deposit during the installation?
No, the security deposit must be paid upfront while placing an order online using a credit/debit card or with a sales agent while placing an order over the phone. You can also send via e-transfer to etransfer@coextro.com and make sure to enter your reference number or name.
Q: How long does shipping take?
It takes up to 1-3 business days from the time it was shipped out to receive. We will send tracking information via email.
Q: Can I port my existing home phone and mobile number?
Yes, you can transfer your existing phone numbers to Coextro.
- For home phone transfers, please send us a copy of your most recent invoice from your current provider. Do not cancel your home phone service until the porting process is complete.
- For mobile number transfers, we require your mobile account number to complete the porting process.
